As a biomechanics specialist, I integrate neuromuscularly-based techniques with corrective exercises to empower mind and body health in every client I serve. I offer guidance and education to those who have somehow lost their innate ability to thrive and for those who want to increase their performance. It is my belief that a strong foundation in both mind and body is essential for one to achieve optimal health and balance.
The central nervous system (CNS) has the greatest ability to control our biomechanics, and it is a complex system of nerves, tissues and receptors. When it is functioning properly, it has the capability to do amazing things, most are even unconscious and something we take for granted (the gracefulness of a pianist's fingers or the versatility of a triathlete's body). But this complex system is dependant upon other systems in the body and can be affected by both internal and external negative stimuli. A trauma, an illness, accumulated stress - they can all cause neuromuscular imbalance, and if not given a safe environment to heal, the affected muscles and joints will remain in a protected state, neuromuscularly inhibited.
The symptoms of biomechanical imbalance include joint instability, premature joint degeneration, decreased physical efficiency and vulnerability to injury.
I utilize my personal perspectives as an athlete, extensive education and ten years of experience in this field to address these imbalances in my clients. When the root of pain and dysfunction is identified and a corrective program is developed, joint tightness and weakness is soon replaced with strength and mobility. I provide a reliable foundation for all exercise and sport by creating efficient movement and ensuring proper mechanics before you call on your body to perform more strenuous movement

The “biomechanics” training with Pam achieve truly remarkable results. I found that years of sitting down at a desk or a board table had weakened key muscles, resulting in severe back pain and leg twinges and spasms. Her Biomechanically-Based Training, combined with specially prescribed exercises fixed me up 100%. It sure is a pleasure to be able to ski the black diamonds, canoe the white water, bike the dirt roads and hunt through the bush, despite being a well advanced senior citizen. No wonder professional athletes like Jarrod Shoemaker go to Pam to get fixed up.
